I don’t know if there is an existing thread for this topic and frankly there is a LOT of material to dig through to find out. If there is a thread could someone point it out to me please. If not:
Putdowns, Who Uses Them and How Effectively
I know they occur with regularity on the boards, sometimes gently, sometimes like a boulder dropped from twenty feet overhead. However, I am wondering about instances in game. The gentle putdown is an art form I think and if it is funny that’s even better (I have been on the receiving end of a few that just cracked me up). Alternatively, have you ever been involved in an encounter that left you feeling dissatisfied with how you responded to it and you think: “Hm, I should have said or done….” I am good at comebacks 2 hours too late to matter.
