So why hasn't this thread been started yet? I'm very much looking forward to it, I don't have as high of expectations as the prequels, and I have a good feeling that Lucas won't be fucking this one up. I'm a tad putoff by the cartoonness, but I actually think this will be a benefit, because I won't have to see shitty over-actors. I have hope again. I really want this one to be good.
Am I delusional to have hope?
No. But you are a huge geek.

I like this one though! However, I do miss the old one a bit.

Petty? Cornbread practically fucking asked for it.
Tell you what. As soon as you get a sense of humor, at the very least an ounce of wit, I’ll proclaim you Queen of the internet.

Cornbread? wtf does that even MEAN.
I find it extremely amusing that you actually believe you are funny and qualified to judge humor in others. Cracks me up.

He's refering to this post, where I made fun of his opinion of religion, because he's so existential, claiming that I myself, am cornbread.
Its my opinion that we are God. I’ve probably read too much Nietzsche... but think about it. This world we live in has changed to our liking because we have been involved. We make it what it is, what we want it to be.
You can be anything you want so long as you change the definition of it to match you.
I happen to be cornbread.

I hear Jar Jar has a prominant role in the film.
I'm put off by the Veggie Tales level of animation, personally. Also, Anakin's new girl sidekick looks/sounds annoying. All I can say is that she'd better die to explain why she's not in any other movie.
The animated features off of Cartoon Network were the poo. They solidified my love for General Grievous so much so that I completely ignored his incredible retardedness in the movie. If they hope to replace that awesomeness with this new crap.. well.. it'd better be damn good.

I really really really liked the animated ones Genndy Tartakovsky did.
They were fucking great.
EDIT: I also think Samurai Jack is fucking radsticks.

Even being a Star Wars fan, I have no desire to see this at the movies. Maybe I'll catch it on cable.

I'll go see it just because I loved the micro series on cartoon network. Mace Windu was awesome in it.

How can you have Star Wars without shitty over-actors?

Agreed, I caught the tail end of a marathon one night on Cartoon Network and it was great. I'd see Clone Wars in the theater.

sadly the last 3 movies have completely ruined the franchise and I no longer have any interest in Star Wars.
