So I got the 'Butcher', I got the 'Butcher Knife', but I'm looking for interesting ways to RP the healing aspect. Any ideas?

Perhaps revel in bloody wounds and pain. While it could be percieved as Masochistic and Mularosian, it might be something a bit better than the Jo-empath whom heal simply for experience.

You could always have a somewhat absurd obsession with the body, body parts, what makes them function, the facination with blood. Almost in a sense of wanting to chop up your patients just to see what makes them tick, and promising you'll heal em up right when you're done examining them.

It'd be fun to RP cutting off someone's mangled limb before healing it. Or cutting the edges of their wounds so they're not so jagged. Mmmmmmmm.

The fascination with blood and wounds is kind of a neat twist. I think I have some "bloody bandages" or something like that from Ebon's Gate if you want them.. my empath is too neat for them.
all ya need are some limbs and other assorted body parts. Maybe some dead animals for parts too.

Perhaps through heavy use of the act verb and whatever different components you can scrap together you can make salves and healing medicines for yourself.
Maybe start an herb selling business as an aside. Make ludicris claims about herbs potency and various additional effects. Offer others you heal choice of food and refreshment as an enticement to always come to you for healing. Learn what regulars like and always have that bit of food or drink on hand in case they stop by.
Hell, if I had to sit there all day in one spot I am sure I could come up with lots of crazy gimmicks to pass the time.

Have a really thick Mexican or German accent (though I'm leaning towards Mexican). Do a lot of needless surgery; i.e. some poor joker wanders in with nary a scratch and you amputate his foot because "it just seemed off". Then, after you heal him, do it again because "that one didn't take".

Actual accents can get you into trouble

Actual accents can be OOG. Especially when you're going with a cliche like an underground german surgeon (A la Minority Report, et al).
Also, IMO, cutting wounds before you heal them is stupid and pointless. You're healing them. If you're any sort of decent healer, you can get them while they're jaggy just as well as while they're smooth.

Laughs. That is the idea, it was meant to be something off the wall that she/he could run with in their RP.

I'm a butcher as well, w/ a 4x cleaver. I use it for hunting (pretty decent weapon, plus it's not an average joe falchion or longsword). I also use it when I RP with halflings, because they're tasty. I ask them for an arm or a leg. If they don't take I slowly work my way down to one of their fingers.
Haven't done it in a while, but it is amusing (to me at least)

So I guess you wouldn't have liked my previous healing agenda that included poking them in the eye or kicking them in the shin before getting the whole 'healing' thing right?
Thanks for all the ideas everyone.

My empath is a butcher of V'tull, uses a 2x warclaidh and generally dislikes healing... he'd rather see more blood for the blood god, after all. He's one my favorite chars to rp, though he's only 30.

Actually, that sounds kind of funny.
