Hm. Monks are going to be squares, which means they're probably going to be able to train up to plate. I'll bet they have access to MnS and MnM spheres, too. I'm envisaging a warrior monk in chainmail, with a giant spear. I fucking hope they get to use sanctified weapons, too.

Well, they might not be meant to be in armor.. Their AsG increasing armor spell requires them to not be in armor.

The second or something spell on the MnM list. It increases your AsG as if you were wearing heavier armor as long as you're wearing cloth or skin.

Hence, get some rockin' robes and be as if in full plate.

Incidentally, I bet my right testicle they will only be able to train in armor 2x per level and it'll be super costly (compared to warrior/rogue).

Or cloth (i.e., robes).

It better be worth it, as they won't get the DS for enchants on armor.

Why would they need to train for armor, if the spell is giving them the AsG?

beyond redux or something... But I mean, the spell shouldn't require you to have armor use to get the AsG benefit.

Good question.

Will the "armor spell" once cast require armor use to either increase its potential(Like lores) or perhaps it will have hindrance depending how strong the magical spell cast armor thingymabob gets?
