I haven't been around lately, and I just found out that in GS4, REDUX for squares has been capped at 50%?

Before I knew that they were planning to cap it at 80%, but now it's 50%?

Heh, I don't even pay attention to redux anymore. It was already capped at around 80% in GS3 after GP3.

It was capped in GS3 prior to GS4 at 80%. Its now hovering around 50-65%. I believe Drizzsdt got his up to 63% or there-abouts.

Seriously...you won't need 80% redux anymore. A level 60 warrior in full plate with 50% redux and a considerably higher defense than in GSIII should not have any problems whatsoever hunting.

<<Everything Edaarin said.>>

There's one setback: Warclaidhm is a warrior.

I'm impressed by my DS as a two-handed warrior. It's at least what I had when I used a 4x shield. In GSIII, I wouldn't even consider being two-handed because of how shitty it was, but now I'm wearing hauberk with 15% redux taking 230 endrolls with minors.

The evasion and parrying aspect is also a great addition. It gives me two extra chances to not get killed if I am caught in offensive. I'm definately finding I'm dying less, even as a two-hander, even with considerably less DS. At the moment though I am 2x PT. When I get to around 50% redux I'll drop to 1x then start reducing my total ranks so that I end up with about 1.5x at the cap.
