Does this have limited uses? Does the chalk run out or something if so can it be used with the less expensive multi use chalks from the alchemists?

Nah, it's unlimited. I think you just need a "chalk" noun, though, so the stuff from the alchemist's might actually work, too.

I'm curious too about the chalk. Also, does anyone know the verbs you use to actually write on them? (I try but it says you start to write on your chalkboard) Just found this the other day with several sticks of chalk. Forgot I even had it. When I got it, I used it to roleplay drawing pictures with the act verb. But that's been a few years now.
