No such thing as a forged maul, mattock is what you want.

Same thing with lances. That is why people like Awl-pikes.

But there's some nice perfectly forged mattocks out there!

Check out this one I just bought from Landceal:

an enormous T'Kirem war mattock

5x, 8 pounds, perfect forging bonuses

Blued steel twisted and shaped into two mighty blades sit atop a massive ironwood limb. Crudely carved and burned into the haft near the base is the word "Warchief", while at the head there are matching circles of repeating T'Kirem runes. A worn brown suede grip is wrapped with a strip of grizzly fur for the wielder's comfort, and a small bear charm with tiny ruby claws swing from a mithril wire piercing the butt of the haft. A faint aura of holy light radiates from the mattock. You notice Bluesmith's crafting mark.

Being a T'kirem giant, it suits me well! Great job on the alter.

Yeah, no maul glyphs.

But, why would you prefer unenchanted?
