I just got the game and I like it so far. I am only level 7, anyways... Who else wants to play or is already playing?

Conan was really disappointing. It starts off strong, but once you get out of Tortage.. content falls, falls, falls, CRASH! No quests at all about 50+, pure grind. Broken crafting system, broken PVP/faction system. Once again, FunCom released their game about a year too early.

My thoughts exactly. I'm treading water in WoW right now.. waiting for the next best game out there. Not sure Warhammer fits that description.

Warhammer is just pure awesome from what I saw of it in E3. I'm just wondering how the lag will be live. It's really a true PvP game with very little environment and PC interaction other then raids and such. But supposedly you could field thousands in battle and hire out computer armies and have epic warfare!

Yea.. AoC said that you will have 40 vs 40 guild fights over your battlekeeps and hire mercenaries to help you. That really hasn't panned out as well as they thought either.

Fielding 'thousands' sounds like an epic lagfest to me... so it doesn't make me want to buy the game.

Not to really trying to dethread this but is it really a lot better?

I will get to check it out whenever I get back to the UK but am in the states until my Visa comes in.

My wife and I found a collectors edition in EBGames for $20 so picked it up because I thought I would check it out since she is on the station access.

Still a few bugs in some of the early level quests but the GM's can fix you pretty quick if you run into them. I'm having a lot of fun with the game. The game itself is nothing like it was at beta and launch. Numbers are picking up a bit too so that's a good thing.

I played when it released and it was fucking horrible.. has it really changed that much? THey did that whole thing where I can play for free for a month but I don't even think it's worth my time/installing it on this computer...

If they sorted that out I would have liked it.
PvP was great PB. much better than WoW.
I didnt play AoC so cant compare it to that but the PvP system blew WoW out of the water.
If they sorted out the bugginess that was Vanguard, it could probably be a cool game, but to be honest, that would be a big ask.

I am still on Tyranny Server finally made it to 80 (Parkbandit wimped out ;)). They are making improvements but if there was ever a game that payed way to much attention to what people on the boards said was bad this is the poster child.

If someone says this class is over powered next patch has a big nerf. Instead of having a game design plan and following it they are leaping all over the map to try to make people happy. They definitely released this game too early and are paying for it because people are leaving in droves now. They are now losing the hardcore gamers, whole guilds are gone. Used to be if you entered Khesh it was a nightmare to try and go anywhere now its just 5 dudes and a guardian at the main gate so you just stealth by them and you have the whole zone to yourself. I like the graphics, I like the work they put into earlier levels, I like that you do not have to be rich to get the nicer things. But I really think they are doomed unless they improve a lot and word of mouth gets out there that they have. We do have some siege warfare going on but on our server its like 2 guilds. We are still in t1 content because everytime we get enough people to go we have to teach them the fight again (sounds like wow)

I just couldn't take the game anymore. I felt that I was paying to beta test their game and you can tell that they spent a great deal of time with the game for levels 1-20.. but at 21, they bullshitted their way to release. I was so excited to play the game and was happy with the first 20 levels.. but quickly realized that all they did was put a beautiful wrapping on a box of dog shit.

rising arms has like 2 people in it so when you go out to farm resources you are all by yourself and you remember it used to be a war zone. I forget some of the others but they posted on the boards they were gone and moving on to other games. My alt is like level 14 and she can go to white sands and not be bothered most of the time. That is just wild.

Sounds depressing to me. The only thing that would save the game would be the high populations.

Looks like they are going to have to consolidate servers.. who wants to play on a secluded server with no one to gank?

AoC was the biggest disappointment ever. I felt totally screwed at about 40 and it got worse as they not only NERFED YOU IN THE FIRST MONTH, you had NOTHING to do.
