Slipping in the keen

Does survival affect slipping in the keen similar to around Pinefar? Anything else that will keep me from falling on my ass?

The ranger spell of Sneaking I believe aids against slippage, as well as Survival Training.

Yes, Survival makes a big difference in slipping, but you need quite a bit. Also, 617 will help, but only with Blessings ranks.

If that is the case, I doubt using the spell as a non-ranger will help in the slightest, Blessing lore or no blessing lore. The lore benefits to their spells are not being counted at all for non-native casters.

So how much survival would show a significant difference? .5x?

All I can say is that as a ranger with 2x Survival, I rarely slipped; when I dropped to 1x, I started slipping quite a bit.
