Does anyone have any reccomendations for a online used textbook store?

I generally use the ones on Amazon or eBay...but you probably already checked those. :/

As for a specific one I got nothing. But you can usually get prices that are just fine from the other two.

I usually use half.com which is part of eBay. Search by ISBN for best results.

My wife is going back to school and recently bought all hers on half.com

All of them came from this woman that just ordered them new from Barnes & Noble and had them shipped to this our address. The racket netted her about $10 a book.

The good price she gets at B&N is because she is part of the membership club, but still, the membership is like $20 a year; that is easily made up for with a few big purchases. Plus you get brand new books.

half.com is by far the best. The only issues I ever found with them half.com is sometimes the seller ships out too late which screws you over for school.

I usually buy books in Amazon's new and used section. Just make a wishlist of all the books you want and keep an eye on it. You can find "new" - "very good" for a penny sometimes. You'll have to pay shipping, but $4 isn't bad for a new book.

I just read your comment and checked my wishlist. Got an unopened Planet Earth DVD (David Attenborough version), a new Curb Your Enthusiasm Seasons 1 & 5 DVDs, a new copy of One flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest book, and a new copy of Dick Winters book from Band of Brothers. For under $60. Good deal.

Edit: here's a screen of my inbox before I ordered the stuff above. Woot! doesn't send confirmations apparently. $80 for a 12mp camera wasn't a bad buy either. I think I have a problem.
