Anyone have a 420 scroll for sale, by any chance?
Some people sell reads of a 420 scrolls, rather than the scroll itself. Also with the recent imbed changes, I'd be more worried about using a 420 scroll.

I'm VERY worried about using a 420 scroll and failing horrifically, but I've got a plethora of blank mage rechargeables I've been hoarding. I wish they still made 420 scrolls. I'd hate to use up even one charge on a failed attempt when the scrolls are irreplaceable. Maybe I'll just keep hoarding my blanks for a bit longer to see if imbedding changes again.

Definitely wait for the imbedding change. The Obsidian Tower has a 420 scroll, but Xandalf has it and he is on vacation. Hopefully between using it in a workshop, or an upcoming fix with the elemental lore review it will be a worthwhile practice.

I've got a pair stashed away for a rainy (or maybe sunny?) day.

LOL someone's a little behind. Yes, some bug was found that meant no one was failing any imbeds. I remember way back when 1997-2000 that imbed would fail on occasion. When I came back last year imbedding was way easy. There was some set of circumstances that kept the problem hidden for years and a few months ago someone couldn't imbed in their private workshop reported about it and the problem was found. AND ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. So the spell works as it did ten years ago, before the move to GS4, and the best way to succeed is to be high level and know the capacity of the item you're tryng to imbed.
sorry, that's the ambien talking.

Not only is there the possible failure with Imbed, the Charge Item spell is useless to most wizards. I will not attempt to charge my 219, 215, or 613 rechargers with my capped mage.
Plus, the item gradually holds less charges unless you are using a charging crystal.
