There isn't a way to make a non-closeable container closeable... is there? I found a cloak in a box and I think its purdy but I want to be able to close the damn thing.

THanks!

If I remember correctly, the LFM master can add the description of the clasp, or not. I've done it a couple of times, but it was a long time ago. I don't know what the cost someone would charge, but I wouldn't pay much really. If you are charged 100K or something like that, I would feel cheated if I were you.

You can make it where the clasp does not show. Just be sure to tell the rogue doing said clasping.

And also make sure the container is empty when you hand it to the rogue... ;)

The clasps vary in price but they're still dirt cheap. Here's the Icemule selection:

18.) a plain clasp 200
19.) a slate grey steel clasp 600
20.) an intricate jade clasp 1500
21.) a smooth gold clasp 2000
22.) a brilliant ruby-adorned clasp 4000
23.) a rune-etched scarab clasp 5000
24.) a sparkling diamond-dusted clasp 5000

The clasped item will turn out looking something like this:
a cloak clasped with an intricate jade clasp

Also, ANY treasure system clasp will work, so you can look around the gemshop tables.

Rogues can't clasp scripted things, since the clasping is itself a script, and scripts cannot be added in the future.

You're not exactly paying just for the clasp though.

It's the hours and hours of mind numbing guild work and box collecting, etc.

The point of that post was to establish baseline material cost and provide information about styles and appearance. Nothing else stated or implied. People can request whatever fee they like for their services.
