It is worse than you could ever expect.

I might just say fuck it and apply to be an assistant manager at Pier1.

My second essay was about some tedious executive power to issue orders against the will of congress. Barbri had one sentence in their complete outline about it. When I read the hypo I wanted to strangle Chemerinsky. Mf'er told us they've never touched executive powers on the essays.

At least I won't fail alone.

My buddy just got through Day 2 himself. He's all being like "Eh, itsnot as bad as I thought". He hated the month of BarBri hell more than the test itself, so far, hehe.

But yeah, I'm sure it blows.

When it gets as bad as cold door-knocking as a salesman I'll know I've come full circle. I'm sure it'll get that bad quickly.

I imagine it'll get better. I also imagine you'll have a hard time imagining it will.

Nothing wrong with selling magazines or vacuums, wtf, Conan! J/k of course, I couldn't do those type of sales.

So, can I expect my friends who recently graduated to resurface and start drinking heavily soon?

I am normally a good test taker, but I wonder if I've paid enough attention in school for the bar.

You learn twice as much on barbri as you ever learned in school.

I guess it is called the Youngstown doctrine. Everyone on xoxo.com from Cali is flipping their shot right now because no one knew it and just made up shot about congresses power to delegate legislative authority.

Once you pass the bar, you can begin counting down the 18 months until you burn out and hate life as a lawyer.

I am pretty sure the group I am working for will be good for me a few years at least. Plus I hope I'll take over my bosses class at gtown law by then and eventually get ajob at some shitty law school.

And if all else fails, generations of professionals have proved alcoholism is adequate self-medication.

I wish i never went to law school. its basically 3 years of torture. I guess my only consolation is the prosecutor position waiting for me after I graduate. Oh, the power I will weild...

That's cool. Good to have that option. It sounds as if you were on law review. Am I right?

I almost went to law school. Not only did I take the LSAT, but I also signed up for that thing that reports your scores to all the schools you apply to. I had to write that essay about why I wanted to be a lawyer. After a week of burning my eyes on a blank screen, I figured it was time to do look someplace else.

By the way, how long do each of you have left?

I can almost guarantee you that there are thousands of other people saying the same thing. It's meant to be hard. Don't sweat shit you can't change. If I had to put money down I'd guess you're going to pass.

@longshot - I have one year left, 29 credits.

I'm heading into my last year too, I need 26 credits. Three of us taking the bar next summer it seems like. WB I think is a year behind us.

Ya I was on law review. I'd recommend moot court to those who go after. Equal pedigree for jobs with a lot less work.

If you make it to Connecticut after you pass the bar Keller, I'll spot you as many mojitos as it takes to numb the pain.

Second set of essays done. Just one three hour performance test to go. This exam needs a mercy rule. It's over. I've won. Give up.
