View Full Version : Gemstone on Ebay

Years ago I used to always see people selling items, characters, and silvers on Ebay. Not so much anymore. Any particular reason why?
Also I was curious, has Simu ever came out and given a statement on how they feel about people selling silvers, items, and characters for RL cash? Always wondered how they felt about that. I'd be pissed.
Ebay banned/stopped the sale of virtual property.

They pretend they care about it, but they don't.

Kind of the opposite actually, if you stop and think about it.. And look and see how many former (and maybe not so former) GMs items started floating around the cash market without ever hitting the silver one..

That doesn't exactly make any sense.

Simutronics doesn't care about virtual people. When I sell an item it's a violation of TOS when you see a GM do it they're just looking for food.

Yeah they've been around a while too. I wonder who makes more cash off of GS, Tsin or GSauctions?
Also, what happened with Khaladon? Last I knew he was a GM, he had just released the black ora weapons on the Wavedancer. I saw some posts of his selling items and people mentioning he was fired? I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm extremely interested.

Just do a search on Khaladon and youl get his "Your fired thread" it was discussed to the point where no one who read it real time will ever want to talk about it again.
I would guess GSauctions but its purely speculative and I doubt either entity wants anyone knowing how much they make.

The guys at GSAuctions sure are a hell of a lot better to work with personally. Tsin has his ups though, his stuff you won't find anywhere else.
