a dark mithril plated backscabbard

Monstrous and hulking, the back scabbard is designed to hang cleaved diagonally across the wearer's back. The dark mithril plate has been crafted to harness and protect its massive counterpart. Large archaic writ is intricately etched into the scabbard's expansive face and runs from locket to chape. Mithril mesh covers the considerable amount of leather devoted to suspend the scabbard. The scabbard is clasped at the chest by a large square buckle depicting a black scimitar on a field of red.
