3x, Puncture Rez, SCP, Leather Breastplate

I just found this in a box.

The first thing that strikes you about the breastplate is the weight, which is about 14 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 4,650,000 silvers.

It has a bonus of +15 from a normal breastplate, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it is rigid leather armor. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet. The leather breastplate seems to have some sort of unusual protection against damage.


The harmonics generated tell you that the breastplate serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds.

As your song penetrates the leather breastplate, you determine that it is moderately resistant to puncturing attacks.

I know the Crit Padding is Somewhat as I had it assessed.



This seems like pretty good armor for those hunting the temple. HOW MUCH?

Depends on the puncture proof-ness. If it's like 10%, I'd say 5mil easy. LBP is tough to find.

I'm not POSITIVE, but I thought moderately was 20% and very resistant was 30%.

Anyone confirm?

I'm of the impression it is a range, and since we don't know what numbers the ranges are between, it could be like 15%-25% is moderately or something... but yes, it's around 20 most likely.

and seeing as how it's only 3x though, I think the 3 million or so appraisal is much more accurate than 5, most people wearing LBP aren't going to be worried about getting hit (because they're like Evarin), or they are going to be in brig (spell-casting rogue)

This would be a great candidate for padding removal if a merchant that is offering the service ever shows. Get it up to 7x and you have something nice.
