Considering the amount of story the game had to wrap up, being so cut scene heavy didn't really bother me much. It usually does, but not in this case.

Being a huge fan of the MG series, I'll say the game is definitely awesome and I haven't played it yet.

Can't justify shucking out what, 400$? for a PS3. :(

I'm barely two hours into it and I've skipped like half of each cutscene.

Not enough gameplay. But what was there was an effing epic adrenaline rush. Motorcycle fight scene? DO WANT.

Also, some people died for retarded reasons. Some people didn't die for also retarded reasons.

I am tempted to pick up a PS3 just for this game alone, and hopefully the special MGS Edition Console, mostly because I have a 26" HD Plasma TV with Surround Sound in my Dorm Room but no Console Gaming Rig as of yet, so it would also be a good investment for that as well..

I loved it, waiting for some trophys before I do my second runthrough... I got "Fox" as my title... tarantua too, I killed WAY too many people... pretty much anyone I could.

I got an Eagle rating my first time through, which is for making tons of headshots. I got some of the shitty ones too, like the Cow (for getting alerted a lot) but I wasn't too worried about stealthing through it this time, especially once I ran into Drebin and saw how the Drebin Point system worked. I wanted to keep killing soldiers just to rack up more points to buy more guns to pwn even more with.

I'm trying to go all stealth this time through, even though it's still tempting to pwn more headshots with the M14. That gun rocks in online multiplayer too.

my appologise, I got the eagle as well, not the fox... I was just typing that up quickly. Yeah shittons of headshots... I think the only bad one I got was the pig, because I ate a ton of rations...

Inchworm (whatever means you crawled a lot), the one because I picked up a shitton of items, etc... yeah my second play through I plan on saving/loading a shitload until I can manage no alarms.

I love my PS3 also, Blu-Ray ftw. My only gripe is the lame online support. Xbox live > PS Network by far. I'd pay the yearly fee for better service.

530 bucks later...I am now the proud owner of the MGS:4 Bundle Pack and Special Edition PS3.

The funny thing is, it's still unopened in the box upstairs in my room, since I have yet to find time to see if it would hook up to the TV down here where I'm currently staying till the end of Summer....Now to just find a cheap HDMI cable for when I go back to school with it

As long as your TV has AV inputs you should be fine. If you have problems with it, then hold the power button when you turn it on until you hear it beep again. That switches the system between HDMI and normal, or some shit like that.

Yea, I took a look at the TV down here and it has available AV inputs since it's using the Component Input for the Digital Cable Box.

Now tonight, I'll likely be up for a looong time playing it, I just hope I don't get the third degree about spending 600 bucks on something when I could use the money for school.

My favorite part was the end of act 3 when Ocelot uses The System. Granted I was baked out of my mind but it was a sweet part. What a show of force.
