This weapon was found in OTF yesterday afternoon. It's not a priceless heirloom created years ago. But like I said in the post - I believe the permabless is a bug, and want to have a GH/GM take a look at it.

If you have one look at it, and it remains permablessed, I might be interested.
What's it weigh?

You see GameHost Blatt the Beguiler.
He appears to be an Elf.
He is tall and appears to be youthful. He has piercing silver eyes and alabaster skin. He has short, grey hair. He has a gaunt face and sunken cheeks.
He is in good shape.
He is holding a long black licorice whip in his right hand.
He is wearing a bristly boarhide pack, some light fur-edged leathers, some shaggy bearskin leggings, and a pair of fur-lined boots.
>
Blatt says, "Well, I can let you know that officially, veil iron weapons should not be blessible."
Speaking to Blatt, you ask, "And as for previous veil items that were blessable - I suppose this only applies from this point on ?"
Blatt says, "My guess would be that any new veil iron will probably follow that rule."
================================================== =======
So there's the verdict. The veil iron flamberge is just a nice veil iron sword, that is 6x and 13 pounds. Hope that answers your question Khariz, and anyone else that PM'ed me about properties.

What does blessable have to do with permabless? I'm confused. Does that person mean to say that it couldn't be permablessed if it couldn't be blessed?
That doesn't make sense to me considering all of the permablessed items I have are made of Eonake. They are also sanctified, and therefore not blessable, but they are permablessed.
Yeah if its permablessed you would never need to bless it anyways.

Exactly.
Also, Rathain, keep in mind that that was GameHOST, and they know little to nothing.

He ran through the site's listing of Veil Iron's properties, in part to show me where he was coming from. It's listed under Veil Iron's description, that weapons forged of this type resist/disrupt magical influences - whatever mechanics that involves, apparently they were meant to be resistant to magical blessings. Eonake if I remember correctly, is still listed specifically listed as being sanctified in the hands of a cleric or paladin.
That said, I smacked a Vourkha with it outside of Ta'Illistim yesterday, and can't today. Whether it was changed last night, overnight, or this morning, I have no idea. I can't really complain though - it's not like I won the item at an auction and it was nerfed. I picked it off the ground doing what I normally would.

You need to teach that douchebag in the other thread with the headband to be more like this.
