I've had hit and miss experiences on craigslist especially in the job market BUT today I scored nicely.
Been looking for the Deep Space Nine box set for my brother. Contacted a woman today and bargained with her down to $70. She just happened to be coming to Tampa today from MN.
Met her at the baggage claim and made the swap. Brand new great price and I only had to drive to the airport to score.. felt shady swapping cash for something at the baggage claim tho haha.
Construction is a bitch down there right now... wasn't very busy at the airport either. The place is like a mall now days.

I've been trying to sell my old Jeep on it and get alot of response, questions, people get to the point where they'd like to come see it and then it dies. No emails, nothing.
A shame, as the engine only has 11k miles on it.

Here's a fun pastime: Items for sale that have misspellings in their listing titles or descriptions usually receive fewer bids and sometimes sell for less because they're harder to find. You can search out misspellings here:

Ah K thanks.
I'm looking for another 80's wrangler. You could prolly move that fast on EBAY if you want to deal with some fees.
It's been 5 years since I sold a vehicle on ebay so not sure what's changed since but mine all moved fast.

I tried selling plane tickets on craigslist and people just didn't follow directions. Ever.

Today went well for our transaction. The only bump we ran into was the lack of cell phone reception in the baggage area. It's under a 9 level parking garage and mall.
We almost scrapped it and gave up when we got a miracle call on an escalator.

It's got its issues like every other city.
It's the biggest city in the US, area-wise. It could have been developed in a much better way, to be honest. It's a naval city due to the Mayport base, and for its location struggles to land alot of higher-end companies. The unemployement rate here is high, like almost 8% and because of cost of living, the pay isn't very good here.
I do what Sean2 does ( operations mgr. ) for a retailer and make roughly 20% more than he does, but I've been with the company for like 8 years.

It's just my opinion that it sucks ass up there.. I've only been three times.
And as a legit job I'm sure you make much more than I do now. My operations mgr for 8 years was in telecommunications industry. I'm now in retail actually doing work for shit money. Freight operations but it's better than nothing. I've actively been trying to find a legit job for a very long time I guess I'm glad I got what I got. :(
And not really happy. I miss my profitable hobby.
Anyways keep an eye out for mid/late 80's wrangler. Looking to snatch one this summer instead of paying doctor bills.

Wasn't meant as a diss, more to show how weak the job market is in Jax.
