So it's been a "very" good year for my business this year and I decided that I'd treat the family, friends, and the neighbors to some fireworks. Was a bit pricey but it's worth it for a once in a blue moon thing that the kids will remember for a long time. Thankfully the rain cleared out by around 10:00 just in time for somebody to light the fuses. Gotta love sitting in the backyard being able to watch that without any crowds.
I won't post all of the pictures because I'd probably break the PC or something...

What a lovely display of copper, strontium, barium, and calcium.
Saw some tonight. Then had champagne afterwards. Good times.

am I the only one who doesn't get impressed by fireworks anymore?

Saw them on the 3rd at Blue Jays single A ball park. They launch them over mostly center field fence and the acoustics in the park are loud as hell. We hit that place up every year.

Took my son and his two cousins over to the country club to watch the fireworks. Its nice to see them up close - and the noise was spectacular.

That's awesome. All I did was get really really drunk and make out with abunch of girls I can't remember. All in the name of George Washington and his fellow patriots. Now its 10am and I'm somehow someway trying to get to the potomac (pronounced pot o mac ) to continue drinking on the river. I have my river shoes on, but the car situation is not going well.

Grats on the business man!
I went the 'cheap route'.. and bought about $400 of do it yourself fun and set them off last night at a friend's river house in Weeki Wachee. No injuries to anyone or anything for the first time in like 5 years.

That's what my father and I usually do. We've got gigantic Neptune Fireworks and Phantom Fireworks warehouses down here so we get to have fun year round. But I wanted to be the lazy bastard this year. All I did was light a few cigars and some sparklers last night. Sit back and relax.

I went to downtown Columbus for Red, White & Boom. They put on a really good show this year.
The highlight however, was an underage man who was drunk beyond belief. In the middle of a very crowded street he decided to whip out his penis and piss all over the place. That was quickly followed by his group of underage friends running up to him and helping him into the port-o-potty where he fell down.

I have this theory that supposes that every Human Being has a threshold. A threshold of alcohol consumption, whereas when passed, no good will come of that night. In fact, the absolutely, no shit, best that one can hope for is that they'll wake up somewhere familiar without having become a felon, and or father.
I crossed that threshold at about 8:43 thursday night and at about 4:15 friday.
I'll spare you the details but if that were me pissing into the street, that woulda been about 5-6 on my list of deeds this weekend.

Pissing in public gets you a sexual offender status around here.... not worth it. Although I've seen rivers of piss flowing from alley ways in Ybor city.
Threshold huh?... for fucks sake do I know that threshold and I'll purposefully cross it every time it approaches.
My "uhm one of those nights" thread happened again like last week. I'll spare everyone the details.

See, thats why I just stay at home on booze it up holidays. It's really hard for me to get in trouble when I can just go to bed by walking down a hallway. The only bitch is trying to do a half assed clean up job of the house while drunk. The last time I was out someplace and was really drinking heavily, I woke up in bed next to some chick that I didn't know. Had no clue how I got there or whose house I was in.

I think I've been there about 18 times.
Always remember the sniff test.
*some may be wondering so I'll clarify. The sniff test is the all important all around test. Used first before engaging in any sexual activities whilst piss drunk first of all. Give it a dip and test it out with a sniff to ascertain if any further steps are needed. If it smells like an eight day old salmon buffet shit out by a grizzly bear than move on if your senses allow. This is not always possible and it is also okay to skip this step if blackout has been obtained.
Second of all if you're not finger fucking the chick before sex you're missing page 2 of "the" manual. Third and last is you can give those slightly silky yet oddly 3 day old milk crusty fingers a good sniff test the morning after blacking out and waking up next to who the fuck from who knows where in who the fucks bed and house to give you an idea without digging your balls if you fucked her or not.
Truuuuusssst Me. Uncle Sean knows.

Sexual offender status? That's just lame.
Neway, I cross that threshold pretty reguary, but I had to call it in tonight because apparently, floating down a river in an inner tube is not a good way to shake a hang over.
The hangovers have gotten much MUCH worse as I've got older.
Last year I'd drink all the next day after drinking all the night before, just to avoid the hangover I'd prefer to put off another day.
Also I think I've blacked out everytime I've drunk since I was 19, I did so much.
And I can never remember fuck all.
Doesn't sound like the huge amount of fun it actually is.
