I've attached the latest full release of Martaigne's ZMud Client, version 2.2.

This version requires that any old versions of MZC need to be un installed to support the new modular architecture that will be utilized from this release forward.

Changes from v2.0:

- Modular architecture for easy plugins and upgrades.
- Brand new item highlight system. Highlights gems, wands, herbs, and boxes automatically.
- Brand new people highlight system. Use a right-click context menu to add highlights to friends, enemies, and merchants. Includes a merchant list from Nilandia.com.
- Brand new speech highlight system (still in progress). Never miss a whisper again!
- Deaths and Thoughts windows to clean up gameplay window, with working highlights.
- Highlighted friends and merchants will be announced when logon messages are turned ON.

Thanks to Vyrshkana for her gem list, and to Nilandia for her merchant list, and to countless friends for helping me test this release.

Installation instructions are included within the zip file.

Despite my initial skepticism over using this Front End, I was pleasantly surprised, and am in the process of setting this up as my permanent connection / FE method. It's extremely easy to use, and I'm excited about it. I've barely scratched the surface of zMud, but there's a lot of power there. Martaigne made it accessible and familiar, enough to where I've taken the plunge.

One thing of note... the multi-account usage is pretty sick. It lets you view the windows (what GS would call the 'story' window) for each character side-by-side, in the same display.

There are some features that I'd really like to see implemented (read: borrowed from other FE's), but the functionality is there to create automatic pickup scripts and mapping tools (similar to those found on PsiNet). It's exciting, and I'm loving it so far.

If I could use PsiNet and Lich in ZMud, it would be > all, from what it sounds like. Easily.

Could you post a screenshot showing how ZMud handles MA'ing?

Just a quick shot... everything's modular / resizable, though, so you can do whatever you like with it. Seperate highlight strings / custom variables for each window / character... there's a LOT of potential there.

Yes, you can see how he uses his gauge panels at the top of the window, whereas I use mine at the bottom... you could also align the main windows side-by-side (with a high enough resolution, a single tab panel is 1036 pixels) and tab all four death/thought windows together, or next to each other.

Pretty snazzy, Martaigne -- I can't say I've actually tried it, but it definitely looks nicely polished & well put together.

If I wore a hat, I'd definitely be tipping it to you.

Thanks, Shaelun. I appreciate the comments. :)

My biggest hurdles right now are completing a background communication method (I have encrypted oocwhispers working already), finishing cross-player spell durations (they work for wizard spells for self-cast stuff currently, waiting on the first item to complete this), and a travel system akin to Atlas or Merzbow's Taxi Partnership.
