Okay, I'm posting this because in another thread every time I try to post me hunting with berserk I keep getting lame shit reponses like "Well yeah, you are hunting with a capped wizard" or "Well duh, two warriors berserking together".

Here is a 100% unedited log from start to finish. I was ALONE. I think about 2-3 minutes went by. Belled to fried:

It has been a long while since you could feel your feet and you wonder if this torturous trek will ever end. There is a small path leading off to the southwest, away from the main trail. The rotting stench of the encampment's inhabitants lingers in the air, mixed with the aroma of cooked flesh and burning wood. A heavy grey haze of campfire smoke hangs over the warcamp and drifts down behind the rise of land, creating a pocket of concealment from the eyes of the nearby Grimswarm. You also see an obscured path leading out.

Ok, try that again but this time with normal 4x gear and normal "easy to get" spells.

It's not really fair to say only 4x gear because you should definitely have better than that at cap.

Also, warriors are far, Far, FAR more gear dependent than other professions.

That being said, a warrior at cap with only a 1x claid and 4x armor and no spells would probably get fucking demolished. That's not the fault of the player/character but of the game.

I devastate shit with my bard and there's absolutely no challenge. I scream through the temple in seconds. Rarely does anything survive more than a single cast from 1030 and never a second.

A warrior, however, takes tactics. I define fun as "moderately challenging." The problem with my warrior in the end game are the insta kills that just take the fun away. No longer is it moderately challenging but a statistical certainty that eventually, at some point, I will get hit with a crystal weapon and I will consequently die (insert other retarded spell I can't ward) and with far greater frequency does this happen over my other characters.

I'm assuming you run from sentries and GWEs? There's no way you can ward sentries since they can get capped pures.
