I just recently rolled in a number of changes to how banishment works. Banishment was happening FAR to frequently, and has thus been tailored back. Those of you that were banished may now find that under these more lenient limitations, you may not be.

In order to have a more concrete idea of your criminal history, I also created a new verb, JUSTICE. This verb will show what towns you are banished from, your outstanding active warrants, as well as a six month criminal history.

I think either the petty stuff doesn't count or they cleared it. I suppose there's the chance its just bugged to high hell too.

1. how long does banishment from town last?
2. if you get caught in a town your banished from does that increase your banishment time?

Not sure, why don't you do some testing for us.

Post again when your banishment has been absolved.
