Been two days since the storms hit and she's not come back. She's been a front yard kitty since we've moved here and she's always out on my chair or my truck.

Went to the animal control pound today and no luck. I noticed she was getting fatter lately so she must be eating extra from somewhere else.

Just thought I'd share.

I missed the post/thread in which you moved away from the place that was okay with pit bulls but needed repairs. Did you find another place that was coo' with your red nose?

And cats do that, as I'm sure you know. She'll probably come back sooner or later and act like nothing happened.

Nope same place. She just made the front yard on a very very busy road her throne.

I've had cats come and go for weeks at a time but this is not her deal. She never leaves and she's my buddy.

I walked around the streets /blocks looking in gutters and shit today.. not the best feeling.

Anyways to keep my tough guy image... it's just a fucking cat. She'll come back or she'll won't.

I'll stick on the side of optimism and say she's out getting it on with the tomcats and she'll be back when they start getting too clingy.

As a PS, your tough guy image is nonexistent. You say too many surprisingly sensitive, self-aware and/or mature things. Although you rarely get taunted about it, oddly. Maybe you ARE that tough...

You mentioned she was getting fatter. Maybe she's pregnant and went to have kittens somewhere.

best turn of phrase I've seen all week! Insofar as "bob barkered", that is. Props.

She's kind of old for a cat, maybe she went away to die? A couple of my parents old cats did that for some reason. On the other hand I've got two cats and they normally are always around but once or twice they've just taken off for a couple days.

Thought of this while reading the thread, fan of a lot of their work. My friends cat came home and plopped out five lil'uns and we're looking for homes if you want me to manila envelope you one?

A hawk or Eagle probably saw her as an easy obese target.
