Animal companions...

I was just wondering if anyone else thinks this is a good idea... animal companions should be able to eat dead critters i.e. roltons, boars, bears etc....
What do you think?

Only if animal companions needed to eat to live, or if eating gave them a perk of some kind.

As a RP tool I can see where it might have some function.. If your companion were a carrion eater of some sort it might make sense as well. My companion prefers smoked meats and fish to the raw versions and since I get to taste it as well we will be eating prepared meats and such.
