What the hell is wrong with the official forums?

I have been continously getting first an error saying I have no access to the forums last night, now it's some 'oracle automation error'. I can't even mess with the forums to ask Simu wtf.

I know I've seen this posted before but since I never had the problem I didn't spend time reading over & over..is there a fix or do you just have to fight the damn things or alt tab to something less frustrating?

I find the official forums nearly impossible to navigate. I can't tell threads apart.. they seem to be more like a chat log than a thread-based forum. For basically fifteen years, I've avoided it because it's impossible for me to read.

I'd play more if:
a.) the officials weren't as heavily moderated. If people start having a dispute, push it to a fight thread, or something. Don't just pull posts. In certain cases a post may be 97% insightful and/or well written, but a one sentence dig (say, using the word whiner), will get the post pulled. resubmission is available, but the wind is outta one's sails by then.

b.) the interface was better. A certain portion of involvement with the game is fun. In order to do that, you need to be kept up to day. The officials are the place to find out that information. reading 25+ threads a day gets time consuming and grueling. Especially since certain folks can't be told to stfu.

I've played for a while now, and the forums are still like visiting a new town for the first time. Unnavigable, no clue where anything is, and everyone sucks there.

Basically, I'm glad fallen posts official notices on the PC. I wish more people would cross post here.
