I'm auctioning off two nice items:

An etched, elven warclaidh - newstyle claid that weighs 6lbs

MB:18mil
CB: 18mil - GSAuctions SOLD!
BO: 22mil

And an alexandrite studded mithril band:

+3 to strength bonus
+4 to stamina recovery
+1 edged ranks
+1 survival ranks

MB: 3mil
CB: 8mil - Izzy SOLD!
BO: 10mil

Edit: After some people made points about the racial implications of the ring, I changed it to represent just effect it has on actual strength bonus.

Since every race is different, would this ALWAYS give +6 to strength?

Yes. Racial modifiers only affect max stat bonus. For example, a halfling with 90 strength stat has 5 strength bonus, and a giant has 35 bonus. Add 5 bonus brings them both to their respective maxes, (10/40 bonus, 100 stat)

Edit: I bid 6m

What about for a hobbit and giant with maxed stats?

What about for a hobbit and giant with maxed stats?

Racial bonuses are independent from enhancive bonuses and enhancives always add the same amount, irregardless of race

The cap, for stats, is +20 bonus (or +40 to the stat itself) from the base, unenhanced, value of your character's stat

So giant with 100 str would have +40 strength bonus, and a maximum enhanced bonus of +60 (140 strength) (so this ring would put them at +43 of a possible +60)

And a halfling with 100 str would have +10 str bonus, and a maximum enhanced bonus of +30 (140 strength) (so this ring would put them at +13 of a possible +30)

If either of them already had +20 strength from other enhancives, they'd see no bonus from the ring at all.

Racial modification affects the ZERO value, from which the +20-to-cap value comes from, so the +30 difference from giant to halfling only affects the maximum cap, not the actual enhancive bonus initially given.

Does this include CMAN's like Surge of Strength? or strictly enhancive items?

I have NO idea.

I've never felt the need use or buy strength enhancives, so I've never tested it personally. I've also never heard of anyone testing to see whether cman surge counts towards the enhancive cap or not.

Anyone know?

I wish I had a str enhancive. It'd make the game so much more fun not to be encumbered all the time, due to bad stat placement back in the day.

Not that I'm playing at the moment, just sayin'

Do you have any idea on the recharge cost for this ring?

also, will it crumble if/when those charges run out?

Duane takes your band and peers at it through a large green crystal lens. He hands it back, saying, "I can charge this up a bit. It'll cost 14460 of your bounty points, though."

To my knowledge, it won't crumble. That's what I was told when I bought it, anyway.

If it's not crumbly (I can always grab my bard to sing to it if I win), I'll go seven million. Thanks much.

I'm almost positive that it does. The big clue is that Surge shows up in your INFO exactly as an enhancive would. I believe Mestys actually mentioned that it counts towards the enhancive cap, too.

Also, I've sent a PM regarding the ring.

Izzy, post your stats once you win that thing. I'm honestly curious.
