Almost forgot...almost any Pacino movie.
The movie itself might suck for 115 minutes, but there's always that 5 minute speech by Pacino that makes it completely worth it. It was the inches speech in Any Given Sunday, the flamethrower spiel at the end of Scent of a Woman, and so forth.
Moist Happenings

LOTR
Princess Bride
Goonies
Fifth Element

Labyrinth

4) LOTR: Return of the King
5) LA Confidential
6) Braveheart

9) Bill + Ted's excellent Adventure (don't ask why, for some reason I just feel its a classic, especially when Genghis Khan drinks from the toilet)
10) Forrest Gump
11) Starship Troopers
12) Memento
13) LOTR: Two Towers
14) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
15) South Park: The Movie

Actually, better than Pacino is Christopher Walken, who has his 5 minute total tangeant speech about nothing even remotely pertinent to the plot. Those are usually even better.

I'm probably going to regret asking this, but I'm really curious.
Who are you calling retards? Anyone who's not British? Cos that's how it sounds, and that's pretty lame. I sure hope this isn't going to turn into another hate thread.
Nope. Not Americans. Language translation occurs in most countries when a product is exported. However what annoyed me that English or rather a dialect of English was translated into...English. The retard comment was directed at the poster, I'll go back and clean up the grammar. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It was directed at me?
Are you fucking kidding me?
I own a DVD version of the movie. I've never watched it with subtites. Nice assumption though. You try to start shit, but you end up looking so rediculously stupid every time.
So a subtitled version may have been released on VHS. Big fucking deal. Does that mean that I own it?
No, it doesn't.
Does that mean that I've seen it?
No, it doesn't.
Once again, your reasoning fucking sucks.
So it bothers you that someone from the US might not understand the dialect of Scottish heroin addicts. Allow me to apologize on behalf of my ethnocentric countrymen.
Read the next paragraphs carefully...
I'm not on the dole, government aid, or whatever you are on to survive. I have a job, and money, that allows me to buy DVDs. You are a piece of shit dirty hippy, who has the respect of nobody. Maybe this is why you have a second hand VCR in your "social room" of your community home that smells like a wet dog that died two years ago.
You will never amount to anything.
Your long hair and bad attitude are just symptoms brought on by the helplessness that you feel through years of rejection.
You're ugly and miserable, and rather than accept it and place the blame on yourself where it belongs, you just lash out at others with your wild arguments.
If you died, there'd be nothing but a tie-died colored candle and half burnt cigarettes left by a couple of your hippy friends to remember you. That's what happens when social outcasts die. Nobody will care or remember you.
This was about movies that you like. You have a problem with me, send me a U2U.

Ok, FLCL is an anime show. It's very hard to understand.... mostly because it goes out of its way to make no sense. I believe watching all the episodes in a row with no downtime would make it easier to understand. I'm reasonably sure FLCL isn't an acronym.
MST3K stands for Mystery Science Theater 3000. It involves three people making fun of a horrendously bad movie, in this case "This Island Earth".
GBU is the Good, Bad, and the Ugly, HPD is High Plains Drifter, and HEH is Hang 'Em High. I was so furious with myself for not remembering them that I couldn't type out the whole name.
Also, Blues Brothers (original and 2000) are quality.
