Yeah, I think that was a couple months back..He was a great musician, gone too soon. Sad.:(

The guys life read like "Mask" was based on it (sans the deformities).

It's a big loss to the arts, the man had tremendous talent and at the same time wasn't a societal drain that gets a pass because of talent.

Two weeks into learning the guitar with my kid, she wanted to quit because it was too hard. I made her watch some Healy videos and a documentary ... it only took an hour to change her mind.

The sad part is the only thing that comes to mind when I think of JH is Road House.

Yeah pretty tragic all the way around. Never thought of having the kid check out his bio, not a bad idea at all(12 y/o with lagging motivation in band).

Side note, editing the title to correctly spell his name just never worked..boo.
