So I have been posting here for a few years now, since shortly before the boards switched to the new format(the first time). Ive gotten to know a bunch of you and a handful pretty well.

For those that dont know I have been somewhat ill lately and until a few weeks ago thought it was just a shitty month of being sick. Not so, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma 2 weeks ago. Apparently Im in the second stage of the disease. Luckily for me it is one of the most curable cancers. I started chemo last week and its really shitty tbh. I really dont have much energy to do much other than lie on the couch and watch tv and playing video games give me the spins.

Gan has been nice enough to put my account up for sale since I dont play and could use the cash for bills but dont have the energy to do it myself. Anyway im not trying to get pity or anything but a bunch of people have been asking where ive been lately and this is easier than contacting all of them individually.

Dude I feel you. I've got every lab rec and an ultrasound and biopsy on a growing lump in my right pec right under my nipple in a couple of days.

Hopefully mine isn't what it could be but if it is you and I can go hit up vegas fear and loathing style.

I'm sorry to hear this. My teammate was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma a year ago. She's currently in remission and she's back to being her normal, silly, pigskin kicking self. I know you can beat this and I wish you nothing but the best. <3

Figured since I am posting here and there I might as well give an update. Ive gotten through what seems to be the worst of the treatment. I feel like I am back to my normal self which is a good thing. I almost feel like the cancer was a blessing of sorts. I have really changed my lifestyle for the better. Gave up gaming and am barely around a computer at all for that matter. Started taking classes again at Temple U trying to get my degree in engineering. Had spent a good amount of time out of school just kind of drifting before I got sick so it kind of woke me up I guess. Spend my free time just hanging with my friends and watching sports and just screwing around. Really enjoying watching the Phillies on their way to the World Series. Pretty exciting for us Philly fans. Game 1 of the WS is on my Bday so hopefully the Phils will get me a win as a present.
