I found this in a box today.

It's pinworn, NON-CRUMBLY, MAGE-RECHARGABLE Melgorehn's Aura, as well as a +1 to Elemental Lore - Water enhancive.

a turquoise-set gold buckle.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the gold buckle in your hand, and you learn something about it...

You sense a faint aura of magic around the gold buckle. You also feel a faint drawing sensation from it, as though when its charge is depleted, it may be refilled. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the buckle is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose. Also, it seems to have some sort of enhancive properties.

The gold buckle contains the spell Melgorehn's Aura, from the wizard circle.

The buckle resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 1 to Elemental Lore - Water Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 2 times.
The buckle looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

913 isn't imbeddable, so yes. He likely could have gotten a bit more if he used this as a major selling point. It is commonly found on scrolls, though.

I'm not certain I agree with the rareness of 913 on scrolls, however. I just checked my collection and I have four fully charged ones, and three that were already used.

Hakkone got me pretty good, apparently, as I didn't know the true value of this. No wonder he was so quick to offer a buyout!
