A question for people who sign their name in every post

This is just out of curiosity, but why not just move your name into your sig? And for those that sign each post with the same name as their username, why sign your post at all?

Heh, yeah I know. It's mostly because I'm at work, so I don't have avatars, pictures or sigs enabled to view. But I don't have to look at my own sig to know what's there. That's there for those who enjoy seeing that kind of thing. :D
