I just started enchanting at about the beginning of this month. Being completely new at it, I grabbed a slew of 0x items and started enchanting.
Today, my first 3 items that were taken from 0x finally reached 4x!
Other than that though, I have learned absolutely nothing about the limitations of my enchanting ability. I heard from other enchanters a lot of rumor and speculation about this and that effecting casts and I can't even tell you whats true or isn't. It all seems like a batch of phooey to me.
I did all my pours and casts under these conditions:
Full Elemental Spells
Full Spiritual Spells
Full Spirit
Full Health
Uninjured
Unencumbered
Sitting Down
At a Moonglae inn table
Amulet Running
Familiar Ingame
Nearly full mana
At the time of my 4x casts, I had 9 total enchanting projects running. At my max, I had 15 projects. I had heard that multiple projects brings down your modifier, but I didn't notice it.
I have never failed a single pour or cast.
It doesn't seem like you need to train specifically to enchant if your going to use a runestaff.
My info and skills are below, you can see that I didn't go overboard with MIU. Although I may be peculiar because of my full singling in EMC and Wizard Spell Ranks.
