How old does a DE have to be to overcome a 150 TD?

Thanks

at 25 my sorcerer has a TD of 160, casting around 145. It depends if you have spells up or if you are using a rune staff or shield.

Use implode...

A safe age for a 160 TD would be 35-40. Or if you want to abuse the mechanics drop a couple sets of full plate and just cast implode. It gets the job done. My sorc imploded warclaidhm successfully at 20 trains so i know that works.

Dropping plate isn't mechanics abuse.

i thought it was deemed to be mechanics abuse, the same with giving people coins to weigh them down for maneuver based attacks...

No, it was stated that it's smart tactics and not abuse. I don't recall the specifics of it. Sorry I can't be more helpful on the referrences but I'm fairly certain it was said it's ok

Refusing silvers was made to stop the load down then manuever attack route.
