Well I have a level 43 for cheaper! I want to get a warrior or bard so ive been trying to get rid of my rogue.

How old would a rogue have to be to reliably pick/disarm OTF boxes? Assuming max lock skills, of course.

Thats a vaste over estimate my old rogue started cracking OTF at 50, the key is to 3x disarm and make wedges. An 80th level rogue could get like 95% of OTF boxs doubled with lore.

Well for me, I would want E-Z mode OTF picking and not have to worry about guild tricks if I were to buy a rogue for picking purposes. I'd do 3x/3x with at least up to 404 in spells.

At this point I use a level 62 wizard with 2x perception and 1x disarm. He sees all the traps and can disarm all the ones possible with 408 (I use 125 on the scary ones like sulfur and scales), but I leave the mithril/eruned on the ground and toss the glyphed ones.

In the 50ish range - expect to get 10% of the boxes that are trapped. Non-trapped you can wedge or pop providing you have those skills.

In the 60ish range - expect to get 30-50% of the boxes that are trapped. Non-trapped (see above).

In the 70ish range - expect to get 60-80% of the boxes that are trapped. Non-trapped (see above).

In the 80ish range - expect to get 90-99% of the boxes that are trapped. Non-trapped (see above).

By get I mean successfully disarm/open. This is a rogue with high dex and 2.75x to 3x disarm/picking.

My advice is if you're a younger utility picking rogue - stock up on harness power (mana) and learn up to 407 OR learn lockmastery wedging.
