I came across an old thread from 2006 where a few were talking about a questionable 7.5x claidhmore that was heavily weighted above a normal claid. (50 points I think that is, correct me if I am wrong). During those arguments there was mention of 4x claids that were heavily weighted that had been sold. My question is this:

Are there any 4x or above old style claids weighted incredibly above that of a normal claid (60 points total) and how much something like that would be worth?

The warlord's claidh is more heavily weighted.

Well, my claidh is actually the reason why I started this thread. In the old thread I found Tsin and Ardwen were mentioning the claidhs with extra weighting being assessed to show that weighting........

You assess the claidhmore for structural weaknesses and strengths.

Careful examination indicates the white shaalk claidhmore has a base strength of 99 and a base durability of 290. You also determine the current integrity of the white shaalk claidhmore to be at 100.0%.

Checking out the claidhmore, it looks like it's incredibly weighted to inflict more critical blows.

Roundtime: 20 sec.

I was just wondering peoples opinions on how much that would be worth, and if they remember a 4x icw (60points) ever existing.

Wonder if merchants enchant old style claids...

Nope...Only new styles can be enchanted with PP's. If a merchant touches an old style or you try to take your old style to four winds you'll get back a new style

Seeing as how no one seems to have responded, how much would a 4x old style claidh with 60 points of weighting (incredibly weighted over a normal claid) be worth?

:thanx:

Exactly what you paid from Khariz, honestly.

Nah, even he says it's worth way more. I'm just trying to get an idea, it's not like it'll ever be for sale :tumble:

Well sorry to get your hopes up but that's impossible to have incredible extra weighting on a claid. The weighting system is maxxed at 60 points and incredible starts at a base of 25 so that would be 65+ points which is impossible. More than likely it's just assessing as incredible for the claid weighting on it. A lot of the old claids are really funky i've had claids with extra weighting you can't assess, ones that you can, and ones that assess as incredible showing only the claid weighting same as yours.

Also trying to test crit weighting is incredibly difficult. I think you're short out of luck unless you have a ton of time on your hands and a 2nd witness to confirm your findings.

Didn't get my hopes up at all, I still love the weapon and in my opinion it is one of the better remaining claidhs. Thanks for all the information I appreciate it.:thanx:

Pretty much you'd be the only one on here who would require a second witness to confirm your "findings"

Your claidh was significantly devalued because its previous owner used it for cybering

If you're shelling out 100 mil for something I would definetly want to confirm those findings.
