Some GM (Kyalia or someome) just came up with shadowsilk in a round-robin altering session where the entire room came up with an idea for everyone to get.

That was after the web move.

Shadowsilk is about as far removed from ICE Age as you can get. It's a material from DR, putting it from about another 5000 years in Elanthia's future. I'd wager Kyalia was responsible for most, if not all, of the shadowsilk that came into Gem, both during single alters and during at least one mass session.
