Good answer. This was just an exercise in message board foolery. If we are going to hold ClydeR accountable and feel that he is obligated to answer us then we all should be held to that same standard. Then again, this is just a message board, and no one here is beholden to anyone else for anything.

Backlash, every post you make is an exercise in message board foolery.

Given the articles ClydeR posts, I asked him to clarify his belief system in order to understand what kind of person finds these issues so important. It's not to make a mockery of ClydeR., but to see what he truly believes. He's failed to stand up to that challenge...

The articles he posts, and subsequent comments, are consistent with someone that possesses a view of the world largely based on scripture. There's a good possibility that he rejects any scientific evidence in favor of the dogmatic belief that the world is only 6,000 years old, and that the rapture is imminent.

Again, I asked him to explain his personal beliefs because of the articles he posts.

You're not asking my personal beliefs. You're asking for proof about something that I've never claimed to know anything about, and to defend posts that I've never made. How can their be an issue of accountability?

These are differences that I expect someone with your stunning intellect would not understand. Are you seriously that dumb that you don't understand this?

Oh, and my other question...

What the fuck is wrong with you?

I have two orders of business regarding Back. Instead of focusing on why this post is written with the hope that readers will think for a minute about the situation at hand, I would like to remind people that Back is not the only one who needs to reassess his assumptions. Think about the worst kinds of quixotic parvenus there are. They too should realize that Back's plan is to dilute the forum's sense of common purpose and shared sacrifice. Back's factotums are moving at a frightening pace toward the total implementation of that agenda, which includes turning busybodies loose against us good citizens.

Back's lies come in many forms. Some of his lies are in the form of morals. Others are in the form of hatchet jobs. Still more are in the form of folksy posturing and pretended concern and compassion. Rhetoric aside, Back's practices are as screwed up as Hogan's goat. He will almost certainly tiptoe around that glaringly evident fact because if he didn't, you might come to realize that he doesn't want us to know about his plans to feed us a diet of robbery, murder, violence, and all other manner of trials and tribulations. Otherwise, we might do something about that.

Whenever Back wants to appear impressive and moral, he makes aggrandized declarations about how loyal he is. Why is that relevant to this post? Because this is not the place to develop that subject. It demands many pages of analysis, which I can't spare in this post. Instead, I'll just state the key point, which is that Back wants to control every aspect of our lives. He wants us to rise, fall asleep, work, and live at the beat of a drum. Then, once we're molded into a uniform mass, we'll be incapable of seeing that if Back sincerely believes that mediocrity is a worthwhile goal then he must be smoking something illegal. Because Back is so caught up in trying to substitute breast-beating and schwarmerei for action and honest debate, I'd like to conclude this post by quoting to him the last line of R. M. Rilke's poem, "Archaic Torso of Apollo": "You must change your life."

Having studied Martaigne's charges and finding them groundless, I must now tell the world that I could go on for pages listing innumerable examples of his ignominious practices and hate-filled rodomontades. I have already written enough, surely, to convince you that many people who follow Martaigne's op-ed pieces have come to the erroneous conclusion that Martaigne is a paragon of morality and wisdom. The stark truth of the matter is that he has -- not once, but several times -- been able to reap a harvest of death without anyone stopping him. How long can that go on? As long as his prolix agendas are kept on life support. That's why we have to pull the plug on them and give the needy a helping hand, as opposed to an elbow in the face. To pick an obvious, but often overlooked, example, Martaigne's hypocrisy is transparent. Even the least discerning among us can see right through it. After I direct your attention in some detail to the vast and irreparable calamity brought upon us by Martaigne, I know that everyone will come to the dismayed conclusion that I stated at the beginning of this discussion: On several occasions I have heard Martaigne state that the best way to make a point is with foaming-at-the-mouth rhetoric and letters filled primarily with exclamation points. I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a comment. What I consider far more important, though, is that some people are responsible and others are not. Martaigne falls into the category of "not".

I have two orders of business regarding Back in bed. Instead of focusing on why this post is written with the hope that readers will think for a minute about the situation at hand, I would like to remind people that Back is not the only one in bed who needs to reassess his assumptions. I pride myself on my exactitude. As you'll see from this post, I provide copious detail and try to be as precise as possible when describing the ways in which this post is written with the hope that readers will think for a minute about the situation at hand. It is requisite, even in this summary sketch, to go back a few years to see how Back is stepping over the line when he attempts to create an unwelcome climate for those of us who are striving to burn away social illness, exploitation, and human suffering -- way over the line. He fully intends to egg on negative externalities in the form of evasion, collusion, and corruption. But that's not enough, not for him. Back will additionally dominate or intimidate others, which is why I contend that if I had to choose between chopping onions and helping him bar people from partaking in activities that cannot be monitored and controlled, I'd be in the kitchen in an instant. Although both alternatives make me cry, the deciding factor for me is that if you think that mediocrity and normalcy are ideal virtues, then think again. This has been a long post, but I feel that its length is in direct proportion to its importance. Why? Because Back lacks the dim flicker of sentience one needs to qualify as an imbecile.

And Clove, you are disturbing on several levels that you would even think about Back in bed.
