The wife got a gold three stone sapphire ring with diamond accents to match her three stone engagment ring. She also got her very first pair of real diamond ear rings. I rule. :bounce:

as for giving...
I got my mom/grandpa a romba floor vac.. It's one of those vaccum's that do it themselves. It has sensors and memorizes your house, and you press the size of the room it's in, and it just goes. I figured it'd be great since both of them have bad backs.
I got my mom a very nice jewlrey box as well.
My grandpa a 5" battery powered portable tv (he hates not having anything to do when the power goes out from a storm)
I got everyone a cd/dvd opener.
I got my cousin two playstation 2 games.

I took small statues of angels to those we have in hospice care. I may not believe, but they do and that is what is important. To one fellow, I took a little statue of the devil, as he swears he will soon be meeting all his cronies in hell. ;)

What did I receive? Smiles, bits of laughter, a few tears, and the most beautiful lace-trimmed, antique handkerchief from a dear lady who told me it was the very handkerchief she had tucked up her sleeve at her senior prom. Some of those aforementioned tears were mine. :)

I got alot of clothes this year, everyone was tired of seeing me in baggy clothes. I've gone down a few sizes since we bought the restaurant and haven't had time or money to get new clothes. The family banded together and outfitted me. Fortunately my daughters have great taste.
