Nice mob at the end. But if I were a warrior, I'd just hit that rather weak looking wood on his right leg... That's the place.

Thinking about it. Are we actually going to see mobs fall down? That would be cool! I hadn't really thought about it until now, but mobs never fall in MMOs. I've seen stuns but not knockdowns.

Less background fodder, more gameplay action.

If the action and movements look like trash and handle badly, it's not worth playing, no matter how nice the scenery is.

That isn't the greatest scenery ever, either. May aswell be DAoC on a nice machine.

I don't like how the water in the 2nd and 3rd screens just come right to the edge like that. Water doesn't look like that, it's a lot more blended and difficult to tell where the edge is. Also there'd be plants growing (even from the cracks of the paving stones) near the water's edge.

As for Crystaltears, I agree, but they are just posting screenshots of areas they've finished recently. A different team is working on gameplay.

Although in truth. I'd rather have a game with fantastic gameplay than fantastic graphics. In fact, I think graphics would come behind gameplay and story for me. And I think most of the MMO population agrees seeing as how well WOW is doing.

Trust me, nobody thinks they're nearing completion. Most people think it'll be finished either in late 2009 or not at all. I think they're just bowing to the pressure to release 'something' on a semi regular basis. The community hasn't enjoyed having almost complete radio silence. A monthly Screenshot or five is much better than nothing.
