Any Explanation?

Trying to figure out why this is occurring. I'm not complaining, but I'm curious.

I have a mithril-edged vultite buckle inset with thick steel knobs.

When loresung, it says:

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the vultite buckler in your hand...

The magical harmonics reveal that this is an item which serves as a shield when held in the left hand.

The buckler resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 1 to Dodging Ranks.
It provides a bonus of 1 to Agility Bonus.
This enhancive item may not be used by the following professions: Warrior Wizard Cleric Empath Sorcerer Bard Monk Paladin Savant
The buckler looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

(so it's usable by rogues ---> me)

Any explanation for why it gives me +2 to agility?

The bonus (what actually does something) is only one, but is reflected as a +2 base stat gain. What's in parenthesis is all that matters, really.

yep, it gives 1 bonus, your going from 21 to 22, but the stat has to rise corresponding to that.

Ahh, I gotcha. I was misreading thinking it was +1 to stat not bonus.
