I read things like this and I get curious about the whole "justice" of it, you know? Like prison hardly seems like justice for what happens to the mind of rape victims.

And then I asked my brother, who spent seven years in prison, if the inmates really handle what the legal system didn't (and by didn't, I mean not well enough), and he was all, "Hell yes they do. honestly, i would be in complete agreement with you if i hadn't gone through it myself. i was accused on 10 charges about a year back that went all the way to jury trial and all the way to verdict. Now to give you some sort of basis on how innocent i was the jury deliberated on my innocence for 18 minutes......barely enough time for drink and to wipe some sweat from my forehead. the way i was treated until the jury counted off on charges 1 - 10 not guilty, was just absolutely disgusting compared to what the justice system is supposed to be, and i am referring to the "innocent until proven guilty" deal
