I got accepted into "Clan of the Mandrill" which looks like a very organized guild that is growing pretty quickly. I'm not thrilled by the name either.. whenever I say it, I find myself talking in a bad Irish or Scottish accent.

And I WANTED to be a member of a zerg guild.. since that is really how you are going to have to establish yourself quickly in the game. The people seem to be pretty nice and the leadership is fairly organized.. which is a big plus in my book.

I'm really looking forward to it. The graphics are amazing.. I just hope Vista doesn't lag like it did for me in the beta. I downtweaked alot of it down.. so hopefully my performance will greatly increase.

I'm concerned that the ranger class (which is what I am leaning towards) is like the initial hunter in WoW.. a joke with no real raid role that couldn't be filled with another class.

I think the real draw for me will be the pvp/seige aspect of the game where your guild builds a huge fort and awaits the inevitable attacks by others.

Yes. The gameplay is entertaining as hell. Spellweaving looks cool as shit for mage types.

Plus, the fatalities make dying fun!

I pass the min specs just fine and I'm good for the recommended except for not using vista and my vid card doesn't have enough memory. I'm upgrading the card pretty soon so no worries there.

I was tempted to go on a PvP server, but the beta made me realize how much I hate being ganked whenever I take the time to read through a quest or I'm loading up a zone. I can get my fill of PvP with the battlekeeps and whatnot. Anyway I'll be the the Omm server if anyone else is going to try PvE.
