View Full Version : 2h ambush blunt?

Ahoy, so i'm tired of dual wield OHE on my ambushing rogue and I tried katana and claidh in the past but it sucked balls. Id like to go back to a 2h weapon and was curious if like a beast mace or something would be good? Also, if you have any other preferences feel free to enlighten me.

There is no mace-like weapon that uses twohanded skill in GS. There's 2hders that crush or puncture though (mattocks mauls).

Ya thats pretty much what i meant ( 2h crushing ) with like a maul or soemthing, does anyone have any experience with that?

I used a maul for about 5 or 6 levels in sand devils and pyros, it worked pretty well.

Um... Mauls/Mattocks are great. Fairly easy to aim for a 2hander as well.

hell yeah, i'm all about mauls.. My rogue is still young but against heavy armor its got the best AVD being that it Crushes one who is wearing it, denting it inwards for the KILL! they swing faster then a claid and with ambushing from hiding, as long as the critters not to tall to get their head/neck you kill anything in one shot.

I didn't realize "crush" meant "crush or puncture" now.


... I apologize in advance if this changed or something, but when I played, mauls and war mattocks never ever punctured.

Mauls are badass, and with 24-30 ranks of ambush as a warrior around those levels I could aim pretty damn well.

vaalorn is similar to vultite isnt it? so id be safe in assuming this is +16-18 range?

He was probably thinking of flails, which were awesome weapons for the speed in GS3. Don't know if that still matters.
