[The Toadwort, Grasping Mire]
Moss-draped cypress trees crowd a tiny island. A warped and rotting dory lies capsized not far from the island. It is easily held in place, as it rocks gently back and forth in the undercurrent, by one of hundreds of cypress roots. A family of beavers has made a home for themselves in a dead and fallen tree nearby the rotting remains of the dory. You also see a fanged goblin, a piece of black onyx, a spear, a leather breastplate, a wooden shield and a spear.
Obvious paths: east, south, up
>stance offensive
> attack
You are now in an offensive stance.
>
You swing a naginata at a fanged goblin!
AS: +91 vs DS: +48 with AvD: +51 + d100 roll: +4 = +98
A clean miss.
Roundtime: 7 sec.
R>
A fanged goblin glances around, then pulls out a piece of chalk and draws an outline of ten squares on the ground.
The goblin carefully tosses the chalk into a square and then hops through each square one at a time. Just as it looks like he is going to miss the square with the chalk, he stumbles and lands in it. He quickly stands up and quickly makes it the rest of the way, bowing at the end.
