Aiming

Can anyone remind me how aiming works for archery please? I think it was something like perception and ambush from the open and ambush only from hiding, but I forget now.

Perception for open firing aiming.

Ambush for sniping.

402 and 404 also help, respectively.

You want a clear front sight tip and a fuzzy target, if you're target is clear you're doing it wrong.

Isn't it the other way around? Perception and ambush from hiding and ambush for open firing? I can't remember anymore.

Well I've been looking around and it appears that it's perception from the open and perception/ambush from hiding.

Also, past 40 ranks ambush and perception give you an AS boost so even if you're just an open archer if ambush is a cheap skill for the class you're playing you might want to train in it.
