I can't even find my old post regarding how royally pissed I got at Aephir's den for dumping me with no contact.

Mindra never contacted me after I e-mailed her for her response to the post regarding me wanting to give info away.

But...since then, this status page showed up at http://www.aephirsden.com

So I watched...and saw it change from "redeveloping the BBS" to "hey we're going to be bringing the devs up to talk about stuff" to "uh...the public website got corrupted, sorry." This was a month or so ago. What a shock. AE is the bigges POS enterprise I've ever seen in my life.

Anyway...I was cleaning out my bookmarks and saw the AE link and said why not check out the horror show. Yup...same messages as before...but then...I happened to hover my mouse over the bottom "Under Construction" image and noticed it was linked. You'll never guess where!

**WARNING** it is a porn site so don't go there at work or on a public computer.

Either the person who made the page is a closet sicko or they got hacked. Either way, serves them right.

What happened with you and Aephir's den?

What happened? As far as I know, one day everything's fine, the next day the website, all the staff e-mail, and the game itself are gone.

I hear nothing for about 6 months until another GM posts here on a thread I started about giving away all the information that I had received from AE. She asks me to e-mail her, and I get no response.

Just a giant clusterfuck IMHO.

Maybe they all died in a mass cult suicide.

When it comes to working on and developing games from the ground up for FREE, don't do it. If you're going to work for free, only do it with a game that is already established and running or else your ideas will get milked and put into another more better game. Unfinished games are so shady as they always give you the run around.
