AS question

For the Adventures Guild badge would just ranged weaponry and ranged and Dex be the best boost for his AS? Thinking of dropping my spells down and losing 425 and would like to make up for some of the AS loss. Thanks.

training in ambush and perception both raise AS...however you need to train highly in both to see the AS gains i believe its over 40 ranks of both before you start seeing the AS gain

As long as you can gen an AS of 500, you should be fine for OTF - not like you're hunting constructs.

Anything about that is just icing.

Right now with 425, signs and a 4x bow I have a 505 AS I can fletch arrows, but i have been using a wand loading bow and it would be a waste to use 5x arrows. So if i use a normal bow and 5x arrows that would make up for most of the AS lost. I could be wrong, but i think ambush and perception shouldn't be bumped up anymore.

I am thinking of dropping down to 404 in spells and 2xing in hiding and bumping up MIU and Arcane symbols. I could just go into full plate and shot from the open and use magic items for e-wave.

IMO, all that MOC is useless, especially if you just use Ranged and are only training it for FoF. 35 is overkill, and lowering that could give you a shit load of more TPs.

Why is it only 505?

My ranged AS with 5x bow / 5x arrows was 503 with COL, and I didn't have any enhancives or 425.

He's only using a 4x bow from what I read, not fletched arrows etc. So he's missing out on another +50 AS just from using plain arrows alone.

Well if i plan on dropping my spells from 30 ranks to 4 i won't be hunting on TP's. Already have 219 that I haven't decided what to do with yet.

well frankly....because if you're aiming for the eyes, they will die with a quickness...not to mention if you don't load a wand into your bow you can just eblade hand fletched or even regular arrows sure you don't flare every hit but honestly going for the eyes how often do you desperately need the flares?

Oddly enough i see my shots destroy the eye without killing the critters rather than critter them.

it happens to me often that the eye is destroyed on the first shot as well...but 98% of em die by the second shot but every once in a while i gotta lay 5-7 arrows before they finally croak just the name of the game i guess
