Guild Question

I have been told that if you have 5 alchemy ranks in general, trinkets, and potions, you can continue your illusions studies with no hinderance. Is this true?

I have 5 in general, 3 in potions, and 1 in trinkets right now. I still am not allowed to continue illusions training, and I have only 5 ranks of that.

I also wonder if more progressed sorcerer's, who already had enough ranks to cloak a demon have had to return to study alchemy to continue to have that benefit.

I feel irritated because a GM told me that I have to study all things equally to progress, but it seems to me that equals 3x more alchemy than illusions.

You need to post Baire's messages to you, and exactly what it says when you use the GUILD verb.

having the same dam problem having to do all that guild crap is taking away from my hunting for something almost worthless to me
I also want to know the minmum i have to do in all the other guild classes to complete illusions

I had an older sorcerer come with me to the guild and she figured it out. Was a total pain in the ass as I couldn't get promoted in alchemy tinkets either. :thanx: Lahanna

I concentrated on Illusion training, so when I need to get promoted I find a Sorcerer who has mastered their Illusion training and they are able to promote me. I just don't have the time to work on the alchemy, so this has helped with the Baire situation.

I've got 17 ranks in illusions so far, recently promoted, and have not been forced to do alchemy. When will this change for me? Here is my GLD.
