Krolvin Ship

Anyone know if you need ranks in swim training before you can make it to the Krolvin Ship in RR?

I was able to make the dip through the tunnel with 2 or so ranks in it. That was GS3, I'm not sure if it will be the same with GS4.

I made it with 0 ranks in swim but like it was said before that was GS3 haven't tried since.
